Board and Train
What’s included?
If you’re going on holiday, or you need some extra help with your dog, consider a board and train at Dogs in the Park. During their time with us, your dog will enjoy:
Multiple training sessions each day, including down stay, leash walking, recalls, and settling in the home
Extra training based on what you need and ask for
Daily one-hour off-leash or longline run with other appropriate dogs
Participation in all Day Training Days (currently Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays)
Fully incorporated into the home and lives of Sue & John and their 2 dogs
Rest time in crates with many opportunities to toilet outdoors
Lots of love and cuddles
Is Board and Train right for your dog?
Not all dogs are suitable for a board and train. If you are interested in having your dog board at Dogs in the Park, you must do at least two days of day training prior to boarding so we can get to know your dog; and boarding is subject to approval by Sue and John, the 2 Certified Professional Dog Trainers the dogs will live with. Board and train is not suitable for dogs who:
Exhibit aggression or reactivity
Suffer from anxiety
Exhibit resource guarding
Cannot settle in a crate
Are not able to sleep through the night without needing to toilet
Note: Puppies under 16 weeks of age will be given overnight pee times
