Drill Team, March 3rd
As part of our move out of the training hall, one of the things we are hoping to do is to put together a drill team that can go out to public places and special events. Drill teams are fun activities that we can do with our dogs. They involve heelwork, on leash (at least at first!) to music. We need 8 dogs to join the team, and two alternates. We are inviting dogs (like yours!) who we think have the potential to be great ambassadors to join an intensive to begin learning the skills we need to be able to participate in this special group. The initial time commitment is to participate in a one hour a week class for four weeks. After that, the commitment will be one practice each week, and then we will look at starting to do flash mobs (impromptu performances) once a week. Eventually we hope to be invited to do performances for special events.
