This intensive will cover basic information and skills to dog tracking sport as a fun way to engage your dog and build relationship. There will be lots of opportunity to introduce your dog to tracking and the basic methods to help your dog understand the task of ‘following human scent’ (rather than all the other enticing scents of critters).
The workshop will run in two sessions:
Theory Session: Friday June 19, 2026 from 6:30pm to 8pm (with no dogs)
Working Session: Saturday June 20, 2026 from 9:30am to 4:30 pm (with dogs)
Prerequisites: Dogs must be comfortable being unattended in vehicles, dogs must have a ‘down’ behaviour.
