Gaby and Mallow

Gaby and Mallow are the best of friends.  They really love running off leash in the parks around Guelph.  What allows them to do this successfully is the fact that they come when called!  Nice job on your recall guys.

Tunnels and Jumps

Tunnels and Jumps

Congrats to all the students who passed Tunnels and Jumps!  This is a great game to play with your dog.  Look for a whole gallery devoted to Tunnels and Jumps coming soon.

Teddy

Teddy

Teddy was so much fun to play with!  We sure do miss you in school Teddy.  We hope that you are enjoying your new adventures in the United States.  Don't forget us at Dogs in the Park and come visit soon.  And don't forget to take Alicia to class; you know how grumpy she gets when she isn't going to training every week!

Chase passed Level 5

Chase passed Level 5

Level 5 is quite an accomplishment!  Most of Level 5 is done off leash, and the dogs who pass Level 5 really can do almost anything.  Well done Chase.  You are one smart cookie!

Tika and Callie Playing

Tika is a Good Dog.  When she started Tunnels and Jumps, she could not easily make friends.  Now not only does she make dog friends, she can also teach younger dogs some of the ropes when it comes to being a friend.  Good Dog Tika!  And thanks to Callie for being a friend.

Fergus and Carlie

Fergus and Carlie

Fergus and Carlie have a lot in common!  They are both really fluffy.  They are both cute as can be!  They are both really smart and know many different behaviours.  And they both agree that the proper way to take a walk together is to do that quietly and politely!  Here they are showing off their down stay skills while out on a walk.

Bane doing a down stay

Bane doing a down stay

Down stay is one of the most important skills a dog can have!  Bane is really good at down stay.  When he is lying down and staying, the family can eat a meal and he can participate by being close by.  He can be part of the activities that happen in a busy family without getting in the way or getting in trouble.

Kurt and his Kid!

Kurt and his Kid!

Kurt is a very enthusiastic participant in life.  Kurt has a kid in his life and uses his down stay so that she can be included in training activities at school.  Here his kid is learning about some of the things he can do with her.

Milo and Shadow

Milo and Shadow

Not all dogs are comfortable taking treats from people.  Milo had to learn that Simone could give him treats.  Luckily he had Shadow to set a good example for him.
